Just minutes after Valencia CF were drawn against Sevilla FC in the Copa del Rey, VCF Media Radio checked in with Toni Lato to comment on the Round of 16 fixture in the cup competition.
A tough tie against Sevilla FC
“It’s a difficult tie, but we’ve shown in the Copa del Rey that we are competing, that we are doing very well and are very motivated to get through to the next round. Each game exists on its own, and has its own aspects. It will be a very competitive game, in which we will have to fight. History shows that we are a very strong side, and we are going to fight to ge tinto the quarter finals.”

“We know that it will be a tough game. Sevilla are a powerful side, and even more so over a single game at their home ground, but we can match them in this game. We have the utmost motivation to get through the tie. The Copa del Rey is the Copa del Rey. It’s gone very well for us and we need to continue in this way. We have a lot of motivation and we can do it.”
